This visa category replaced the Tier 1 (Exceptional Talent) visa in February 2020. If you are recognized as a Talented candidate, you can achieve settlement after 3 years, whereas a Promise candidate will need 5 years for settlement. Following the successful completion of your settlement application and the necessary period of residency in the UK, you may become eligible to seek British Citizenship.
